Lois Albright, age 87, of Shelton, entered into rest on Friday, July 7, 2023 at Griffin Hospital.
She was born in Bridgeport on October 9, 1935, daughter of the late William Wesley Parker and Lois Standish Parker.
Lois worked as a manager at Fabric Tree. Later, she worked at SNET and Standard Oil until her retirement. She had a passion for sewing and crocheting. Lois enjoyed spending time on Saturday mornings at the local Farmers Markets selling her handmade doll clothing. She would often volunteer for Meals on Wheels. Most of all, she cherished spending time with her family.
Lois was the beloved mother of Marylou Zarrella and her husband Lawrence and Lisa McCormack and her husband Kevin, loving grandmother of Alexa and Christopher McCormack and Matthew Zarrella, sister of William Parker and his wife Theresa Parker and aunt of David, Peter and Randy Parker and Lisa Landone.
Her funeral services are private.
The Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Rd., Shelton has been entrusted with her arrangements.
