Lois R. Minnick, 83, of Southbury, entered into eternal rest on August 14, 2014, at Griffin Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late John E. Minnick.
Mrs. Minnick was born in Hazleton, PA on October 15, 1930. A resident of Southbury since 2011, she previously resided in Derby. Lois was an avid fan of the NY Mets and enjoyed spending time with her grandsons.
She is survived by two loving daughters, Candy Piampiano (John) of Derby and Linda Graham of Seymour, a brother, Jack Parsons of MN, a sister, Jill Parsons of CA, two cherished grandsons, Brandon Bowolick and Casey Bowolick of Seymour and several nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday August 18, 2014 from 5 – 7 pm in the chapel of the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. On Tuesday, a funeral service in celebration of Lois’s life will be held at 10:00 am at the funeral home with Pastor James Wegner officiating. Interment alongside her husband will follow in the State Veterans’ Cemetery in Middletown.
