Loretta June Miller, 86, a long time resident of Howard County died on January 20, 2019 at Encore at Turf Valley.
She was born on June 12, 1932 in Seymour, Connecticut to the late Raymond R. and Ruth Bryan.
Mrs. Miller retired from Baltimore City Public Schools as a Librarian/Media Specialist after many years of employment.
She was a member of Linden-Linthicum United Methodist Church.
Her hobbies included reading, taking care of flowers and house plants, listening to classical music, going to the symphony, and traveling.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, The late Rev. William T. Miller, her daughter Melissa Anne Miller, and her sisters Vivian, Jean, Mary.
Mrs. Miller is survived by her son Joel B. Miller and his wife Lyn and her grandchildren Wesley A. and Abigail M. Miller.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the Linden-Linthicum United Methodist Church, 12101 Linden Linthicum Ln, Clarksville, MD 21209 where funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 AM. Interment Stewartstown Cemetery, Stewartstown, PA.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Melissa Anne Miller Nursing Scholarship at the WV Wesleyan College 59 College Avenue Buckhannon, WV 26201.
