Lorraine A. Valentine, 69, entered into eternal rest on July 28, 2016, at CT Hospice in Branford. She was the beloved wife of Michael F. Valentine Sr.
Lorraine was born in Derby on May 28, 1947, daughter of the late Samuel and Minnie Fama Vicari. She was a resident of Ansonia and Derby her entire life. Lorraine devoted herself to her loving family, especially her grandchildren, spending each day making sure they were ok.
In addition to her husband Michael, she is survived by a son, Michael F. Valentine Jr. (Kim) of Woodbury, daughters, Carol Jacobs (Paul IV) of Ansonia and Dawn Popolizio (Scott) of Mebane, NC, a brother, Salvatore P. Vicari (Sandra) of Morris, cherished grandchildren, Ryan, Shawn and Corey Hart, Alyssa and Anthony Popolizio, Mikenna and Emma Valentine and Eric, Kyle and Ashley Piencka.
Per Lorraine’s request, her funeral service and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. The SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia, has been privileged with the arrangements.
