Lou D. Lesko

Lou D. Lesko, age 62, passed away on February 15, 2021, at Shady Knoll Health Center, after a thirty-year courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis. 

Lou was born in Derby on September 24, 1958, son of the late Joseph R. and Rose Perruccio Lesko. He was employed as a Manager and Technical Specialist for the Nasdaq Stock Market out of Trumbull. Lou enjoyed following the stock market and working and programming on the computer. He loved playing acoustic guitar, woodworking and coin collecting. Lou was an avid fan of the NY Jets. 

Lou leaves to cherish his memory a loving son, Patrick R. Lesko (Erika Baranowski) of Milford, a brother, Joseph Lesko (Christine) of Oxford, former wife, Catherine Katie” Tesch Lesko-Boneski (Matt) of Seymour and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a nephew Joseph J. Lesko. 

A contactless walk-through visitation for family and friends will take place on Sunday, February 21, 2021 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm in the chapel of the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI /BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. Visitors are asked to wear masks and social distance as they walk through to pay their respects and exit without lingering to ensure all guests can visit. 

On Monday, all are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am (meeting directly) at Holy Rosary Church in Ansonia. Interment will immediately follow in Mount Saint Peter’s Cemetery in Derby.
