Louise A. DeNigris, age 82, of North Haven, entered into rest on Monday, December 25, 2023, at CT Hospice in Branford. Louise was born in Derby on October 10, 1941, the daughter of the late Louis and Ann (Kaczmarzcyk) Maciog.
Louise worked as a finance assistant for several CT companies throughout the years, most recently for VNA. She volunteered for the Agency on Aging as a literacy volunteer and money management volunteer. She enjoyed travel, painting, drawing and making pierogis with her family.
She is the beloved mother of Lisa and Joe Maurice from Clinton, Cheryl Homan from Madison, Mike & Melissa DeNigris from Oxford, and Richard DeNigris from Beacon Falls. She also leaves ten cherished grandchildren, Gwendolyn House, Bradley Maurice, Grace Maurice, Megan Homan, Anna Homan, Jason DeNigris, Olivia DeNigris, Griffin DeNigris, Alexandria DeNigris, and Aidan DeNigris, three brothers, Robert, Michael, and John Maciog, her sister Patricia Katz, and several nieces and nephews.
The Edward F. Adzima Funeral Home, 253 Elizabeth Street, Derby, is entrusted with the funeral arrangements. Friends are invited to a Memorial Mass at St. Michael’s Church, 75 Derby Ave, Derby, on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at 11 AM.
