Louise J. (Capozziello) Maslar, age 84, entered eternal rest on March 7, 2023, at Griffin Hospital.
Louise was born in Bridgeport on February 13, 1939, daughter of the late Albert and Laura Lazarecki Capozziello. She was employed at the former Avco Lycoming in Stratford for many years. Louise enjoyed shopping, reading, dancing, listening to music and crocheting blankets, scarves, and pillows that she would donate to the less fortunate. Above all, she loved being surrounded by her loving family and friends.
She leaves to cherish her memory, a son, Mark Maslar Sr. (Samantha) of Walnut, CA, daughters, Michelle Thomas (Michael) of Ansonia and Marcia Maslar (Mark Dojnia) of Seymour, a brother, John Iello (Marcia) of Fairfield, daughter-in-law, Rosemary Jensen of Seymour, grandchildren, Amber Maslar, Koriann Baldwin (Jonathan), Mark Maslar Jr. (Micah), Colin Maslar, Michael Thomas Jr., Zachery Thomas (Ashley), Madylin Maslar and Matthew Dojnia, great-grandchildren, Lachlan Velasquez and Luna Thomas as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by husbands, Edward Jensen and Michael Maslar, her son, Michael R. Jensen and brothers, Albert, and Thomas Capozziello.
Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family and pay their respects on Sunday, March 12, 2023, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm in the chapel of the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. On Monday, her funeral service will take place at 10:00 am in the funeral home, with Rev. Jeffrey Gubbiotti, officiating. Interment will immediately follow in Pine Grove Cemetery in Ansonia.
