Lucille P. DiGiacomo, 70, of Seymour, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Sunday, September 21, 2014, at Yale-New Haven Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Salvatore DiGiacomo.
Mrs. DiGiacomo was born Brooklyn, NY on October 15, 1943, daughter of the late Peter and Lucille Bogoslawski Stepulkowski. She was a resident of Seymour since 1987. In her earlier years, she was employed at many area retail stores including Young Folks Shop and the former Nature Food Center. Lucille enjoyed watching the food network and old television shows.
In addition to her husband Sal, she is survived by a loving daughter, Terry A. DiGiacomo-Galla and her husband Joseph Galla of West Haven, several in-laws and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Paul Stypelkoski.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday September 25, 2014, from 4 – 7 pm in the chapel of the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. On Friday, her funeral will be held at 8:15 am from the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 am at the Church of the Assumption in Ansonia. Interment will take place in Mt. St. Peter Cemetery in Derby.
