Luis R. Bosques, affectionately known as “Pito” or “Lolo” age 83, entered eternal rest on June 21, 2025, at Autumn Lake Healthcare at The Willows in Woodbridge, with his loving family by his side.
Born in Moca, Puerto Rico on August 19, 1941, Pito was the son of the late Ramon Bosques and Tomasa Perez. In 1958, he moved to Connecticut and resided in Waterbury for most of his life. Pito began his career employed in manufacturing as a foreman. Later, he became a self-employed business owner of several grocery and liquor stores in Connecticut until his retirement. Pito always loved taking care of a garden so following retirement, he returned to Puerto Rico to enjoy that hobby, focusing on growing plantains and coffee. He also had a passion for cooking and making cheese. Pito was known for being a gifted storyteller who could always capture your imagination.

Soto and Nathanael and Emma Bosques, along with numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother-in-law, Meridor Martinez and nephew Waldemar “Wally” Martinez.
