Lynne C. Behun, age 68, died suddenly on May 14, 2013.
She was the wife of John W. Behun and a lifelong resident of Seymour.
She was born Dec. 13, 1944 and was the daughter of the late Theodore and Corrine Arsan Chojnowski.
Lynne graduated from Seymour High School and attended Southern CT State Univ. She worked for SNET as a service representative until her retirement. After she retired she was able to spend more time on her passion for photography.
Lynne was a well-known Valley photographer for several local politicians and her photos appeared in the Valley Times for whom she also did the popular Valley Views article. Many brides were lucky to have Lynne photograph their weddings. She also photographed many events for St. Joseph and Assumption schools. Her award winning-photos also appeared in Griffin Hospital calendars.
Lynne also had a great love for her many dogs and cats, especially Tyler and Tiffany, her Old English Sheepdogs.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Humane Society, 701 Russell Road, Newington, CT 06111; or your local animal shelter. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, June 1 at 11 a.m. at the Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St., Ansonia. (www.jenkinskingfh.com)
