Madeline P. (Pirritino) Concilio, age 93, entered eternal rest on March 10, 2025 at Vitas Hospice in St. Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury. She was the beloved wife of the late Carmine C. Concilio.Born in Derby on March 18, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Dominic and Teresa Esposito Pirritino.
Madeline was raised in Ansonia then resided in Derby for most of her life. She was employed as a computer operator for the former SNET in Derby until her retirement. Madeline loved cooking and making dinners for her family. She enjoyed playing golf with her husband and her greatest joy was caring for her adoring grandchildren.
Madeline leaves to cherish her memory, daughters, Teresa Sheetz (William) of Prospect and Lisa A. Concilio of San Diego, CA, a brother, Dominic Pirritino (Patricia) of Ansonia, grandchildren, Peter Statkevich of New York City and Leila G. Sheetz of Prospect. She was predeceased by her brother, Lawrence Pirritino and sisters, Katherine Andrew and Angelina Fama.Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family and pay their respects on Friday morning, March 14, 2025, from 8:30 – 9:30 am in the chapel of SPINELLI-RICCIUTI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia.
