Mae Olson Senger, age 94, of Seymour, the beloved wife of the late Arthur Louis Senger, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, September 23, 2012 at Griffin Hospital, Derby.
Mae was born in Derby, CT., on July 27, 1918. Mae was a former member of the Seymour Methodist Church, she served on the Board of Directors of Union Cemetery, Seymour. She was a former Seymour Girl Scout Leader . She loved to bake, garden and had a great appreciation of nature. She also had a strong knowledge of Seymour’s History and always enjoyed sharing her knowledge of the town. Mae was the best grandmother a granddaughter could ask for, she will be sadly missed by her family and many friends and especially her grand-doggies.
Her loving family includes her caring daughter Barbara Drugonis of Seymour, her cherished granddaughter Lynne Wozniak and her husband Matthew of Seymour, a devoted cousin Paul Drake of Concord, NC, and 2 loving nieces Joan Bailey of North Stonington,CT., and Jean Grele of Cheshire,CT. In addition to her husband she was predeceased by her beloved son-in-law Kenneth Drugonis, a cherished grandson Scott Drugonis, and her beloved cousin-in-law Shirley Drake.
A Graveside Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 29th, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. (Directly) at Union Cemetery, Derby Avenue, Seymour with the Reverend Iwy Patel-Yatri, officiating.
