Marcia Crowe, age 75 wife of Robert J. Crowe and resident of Oxford, passed away Jan. 15.
She was born in Montana on June 2, 1945 daughter of the late David and Sherrie Jeszenka Mainolfi. She graduated from Shelton High School and the Valley Academy of Hair Dressing. She worked as a self-employed hairdresser.
Marcia loved to read; she also enjoyed watching the birds from her window in her bird feeder. She leaves her son Robert M. Crowe and wife Marcie of Oxford, her daughter Anita Crowe of Seymour, her brother David Mainolfi and wife Debbie of MA., sisters Kathy Thomas and husband Richard, and Susan Mainolfi, all of FL. as well as nieces, nephews & many friends. She was predeceased by three brothers Richie, Dennis and Ronald Mainolfi.
A Mass intention in her name will take place on Sunday, Jan. 31, 2021 at the regularly scheduled 11:00 a.m. Mass at Holy Rosary Church in Ansonia. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to The American Cancer Society. 111 Founders Plaza , 2nd Floor, East Hartford, CT 06108.
