Margaret A. Dunn, age 91, of Beacon Falls entered into rest on Sunday, March 15, 2020 at Griffin Hospital Hospice with her loving daughter by her side.
She was the devoted wife of the late David Dunn. Margaret was born in Milford on August 11, 1928 daughter of the late Louis Leon and Pearl (Buchanan) Papineau and was a Shelton resident for most of her life before moving to Beacon Falls. She owned Laurels Shop for 15 years. When she was younger she sang in a band.
She loved dancing, roller skating and playing cards. Most of all, she cherished spending time with her family. Margaret was the beloved mother of Edwina Landry and Maurice Powers III and mother-in-law of David Hazard. She was the loving grandmother of Sara Landry, Michele Tarr, Megan and Casey Linde-Powers and William Powers and is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Margaret was predeceased by a daughter Eileen Hazard, a son Michael Powers, two brothers, Frederick Papineau and Louis Papineau, Jr. and three sisters, Eilene Nichols, Catherine Pollard and Edna Wood.
