Margaret Ann (Martonak) Valenti, age 74, of Ansonia, entered eternal rest on April 5, 2025, at the home of her daughter in Naugatuck.
She was the beloved wife of the late Philip J. Valenti Jr.Born in Derby on August 19, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Stephen J. Martonak Sr. and Jessie McQueen Martonak.
Margaret dedicated her life to creating a warm and nurturing home for her late husband Philip and her two children. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family, especially her adored grandchildren, and fostering a loving environment. Since cooking was her favorite hobby, Margaret showed her love by creating delicious meals to share with everyone she held dear.
For Margaret, it was always family first.
Margaret leaves to cherish her memory, loving children, Philip S. Valenti (Danielle) of Naugatuck and, Jennifer L. Goodall (Justin) of Naugatuck, brother, Stephen J. Martonak Jr. of Ansonia, sister, Diane Patterson (Marc) of South Carolina, grandchildren, Alina Filandro, Alexander Filandro, Jaxon Goodall, Dylan Goodall, Ariana Goodall, Tatiana Goodall, Tyler Valenti and Ryan Valenti, brothers-in-law, Michael P. Valenti (Patricia) of Wallingford, Alan G. Valenti (Kathy) of Shelton and Brian C. Valenti (Joan) of Cheshire along with several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family and pay their respects on Sunday, April 13, 2025, from 1:00 – 4:00 pm in the chapel of SPINELLI-RICCIUTI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia.
