Margaret Ann “Peggy” Pastore, age 80, of Oxford, entered into her eternal rest on Wednesday November 21, 2018 in her home. Mrs Pastore was the devoted wife of the late John A. Pastore.
Peggy was born in Derby on May 24, 1938 daughter of the late Frank and Ann Rusinkic Daunis, and was a resident of Oxford for 25 years previously living in Shelton. She was employed at Avco Lycoming for many years retiring as a manager in the shipping and receiving department. After her retirement she worked at Timex before becoming the receptionist at the Oxford Town Hall.
She was the beloved mother of John Pastore and his wife Lisa, and Gildo Pastore and his wife Dawn and stepmother of Pam Pastore. She was the loving sister of Frank Daunis and his wife Gail, Bill Daunis and his wife Marcia, and Dolores Corneau. She was the cherished grandmother of Nicholas, Anthony, Harley, and Martina Pastore, and also leaves several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, December 6, 2018 at 11:00 AM in St. Thomas the Apostle Church 733 Oxford, Rd, Oxford, CT.
