Miss Margaret C. Hourigan, 93, formerly of No. Main St., died Tuesday at Branford Health.
Born in Ansonia on March 29, 1916, daughter of the late Timothy and Catherine Lynch Hourigan, she was a communicant of the Church of the Assumption.
She was a graduate of the Assumption School and Ansonia High School, and was a retired employee of American Brass Co.
Margaret was survived by three nieces, Patricia Pope of E. Haven, Ellen Werner of Charlotte N.C. and Geraldine McCarthy of Ansonia; one nephew Brian Hourigan of Beacon Falls. She was predeceased by three brothers, John (Jack), Jeremiah and Patrick Hourigan, and one sister Evelyn Stevenson.
Her funeral service will be held at 9:45 a.m. Friday from the Bennett Funeral Home at 91. N. Cliff St. in Ansonia to the Church of the Assumption for a mass of Christian Burial at 10.
Burial will be at Mt. St. Peter’s Cemetery.
Donations may be made to the Assumption School or church in care of the funeral home.
