Margaret Favreau, 70, of Ansonia, peacefully entered into rest on April 7, 2015, at Griffin Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Donald Favreau.
Mrs. Favreau was born in Bridgeport on Nov. 7, 1944, daughter of the late John and Charlotte Tierney Sztuka. After residing in Bridgeport for most of her life, she lived in Pennsylvania for ten years and Ansonia since 2010. Margaret loved to socialize, crochet, feed the birds and was an avid fan of soap operas, especially Days of Our Lives.
She is survived by a loving and devoted daughter, Michelle Rascoe of Ansonia, step-sons, Bob Favreau of CA, Warren Favreau (Roseann) of Ansonia and Herb Favreau of Killingworth, grandchildren, Matthew and Nathan Favreau and Kevin and Kyla Rascoe and her pet parrot Rudy.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday April 10, 2015, from 4 – 6 pm in the chapel of the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. At 6:00 pm, a funeral service in celebration of Margaret’s life will take place. Burial will be private.
