Margaret Midge” Sullivan, age 78, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully on December 30, 2022, with family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Francis G. Sullivan Sr for 50+ years.

Midge was born on April 14, 1944, in Wappingers Falls, New York, to Theodore and Marion Tate Beccary. She was a graduate of Derby High School. She served as a lector for many years as a devout communicant of Assumption Church. Margaret, an avid reader, served on the Ansonia Public Library Board for 20+ years, with terms as President and Vice President. She had a love for singing, a highlight of which was performing in the Special Olympics choir, and acting in school plays which she then used to entertain family and friends. Margaret enjoyed painting, ceramics, bowling, going to the theater in NYC, traveling, and hosting parties at her home. She was a long-time member of the Red Hat Society and played in the bocce league at Holy Rosary Church. Margaret was lovingly devoted to her family and grandchildren, and was always looking to make every gathering more fun with activities, laughter, and joy.
