Marguerite “Peggy” (Forino) Teodosio, age 86, of Derby, CT entered into eternal life on June 15, 2014 at Bishop Wicke Health Care Center in Shelton, CT. She was the beloved wife of the late Nicholas Teodosio for 60 years.
Peggy was born on May 18, 1928 in Waterbury, CT daughter of the late Pasquale and Ida Forino and was a resident of Derby for 65 years. She graduated from Waterbury Catholic High School.
She worked in the Derby School System for years in many capacities, including food service manager for the school system and para-professional for a number of schools. Peggy was an accomplished cook and loved feeding her friends and family.
Peggy and her late husband Nicholas, raised three children, Nicholas A. Teodosio, Betsy Seabury, and Laura Teodosio. She is also survived by grandchildren, Rachel Teodosio Wilcox and Nicholas J. Teodosio; son-in-law, Lee Williamson; She was also predeceased by a son, John Joseph Teodosio; a sister, Rose DiSapio; a brother James Forino; a grandson, Thomas Nicholas Seabury; and son-in-law, Thomas S. Seabury.
Friends are invited to call on Wednesday 3 to 7 p.m. in the Edward F. Adzima Funeral Home, 253 Elizabeth St., Derby, CT 06484. Her funeral will leave the funeral home on Thursday at 11 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. at St. Mary Church, Derby. Burial will follow at Mt. St. Peter Cemetery, Derby.
