Marian Busk Morse Watson age 69 of Derby, CT peacefully entered into eternal rest June 24 at Yale N.H. Hospital.
She is survived by her sister Dr. Nancy Busk Carlson of Cambridge, MA., 2 sons Sean Morse of Derby & Christopher Morse, and several nieces & nephews. She was the widow of the late Frank J. Morse III and the late Dr. Robert Watson.
She was a graduate of Ansonia High School class of 1962. She attended Central CT State University and earned a Bachelor’s of Science, class of 1966, Southern CT State University with a Master’s of Science in 1974, and University of Bridgeport with a 6 year diploma in School Psychology. She was also a member of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society.
She was a teacher at Ansonia Public Schools and later a school psychologist at Ansonia High School & Peck School. In her retired life she volunteered at the Derby Public Library and was an avid parishioner of St. Jude’s Church in Derby.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Jude’s Church in Derby at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 8th. Friends may call on Monday, July 7th, 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St., Ansonia. (www.jenkinskingfh.com)
