Marian “Marty” Markiewicz, age 75, beloved husband and child of God, passed to Heaven at Glendale Health Center on Saturday, January 29, 2022.
He was born in Hamburg, Germany on November 29, 1946, the son of the late Jan and Gertrude (Wittge) Markiewicz. Marty was owner of Success Entertainment for over 25 years. Marty was an accomplished songwriter, performer, musician, and record executive. He was a veteran of the United States Navy.
Besides his wife Margaret, he leaves his siblings, Steve and Kathy Markiewicz of New Hampshire, Norbert and Angie Markiewicz, and Connie Kops, all of Florida, and many loved nieces and nephews. Marty is the father of his only son Rodney Markiewicz of Lawrenceville, NJ.
Marty wishes to thank Pastors Larry and David, and all members of his church, the Second Congregational Church in Derby, CT.
