Mariann (Mongillo) Cirisoli, age 58, unexpectedly entered into eternal rest on January 9, 2021, at Griffin Hospital. She was the loving and devoted wife of Raymond A. Cirisoli.
Mariann was born in Derby on February 25, 1962, beloved daughter of Enrico Mongillo of Ansonia and the late Grace Izzo Mongillo. A lifelong resident of the Ansonia community, she was employed as a medical claims analyst at Change Healthcare in Shelton for several years. Mariann loved the beach and collecting sea glass and was happiest when surrounded by her loving family and friends. She enjoyed helping others and each month cooked a beautiful meal for those less fortunate at the Spooner House in Shelton.
In addition to her husband Ray and father Enrico, she is survived by sons, Cameron T. Cirisoli (Lauren) of Ansonia, Justin H. Cirisoli (Stefan) of Southbury and Noah F. Cirisoli of Ansonia, grandson, Caleb Skiparis, brother-in-law, Daniel H. Holt of Wethersfield and several nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her sister, Michele Holt.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral on Friday January 15, 2021, at 11:00 am (please meet directly) at Holy Rosary Church, 10 Father Salemi Drive in Ansonia for a Mass of Christian Burial. Masks are required and social distancing is expected. Interment will follow in the family plot in Mount Saint Peter Cemetery in Derby. In trying to keep themselves and others safe, there will be no public calling hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Spooner House, 30 Todd Road, Shelton, CT 06484. The family would like to thank the staff at Griffin Hospital Emergency Room and ICU; especially, Dr. Chaisson, who showed Mariann loving care and compassion.
