Marie C. Koshis

Marie C. Koshis, age 78 year old widow of Robert Koshis and former longtime Oxford resident currently of Seymour, passed away Nov. 27 with her family by her side. 

She was born Jan. 25, 1943 in New Haven, daughter of the late James Sharpe and Paula Jordan. She was a parishioner of the former St. Anthony’s Church in Ansonia and worked for McMillan Co. until retirement. 

She is survived by three daughters Donna Charbonneau (David) of Thomaston, Diane Jennings (and fiancé John Carlo) of Seymour and Debra Cook (Bailey) of Seymour, sister Geneva Gove of Houlton, ME., two grandchildren Nicole Charbonneau of Thomaston and Justice Robert Cook Sr. (and fiancé Tiffani Hushion) of Seymour, step-grandchildren Cheekie, Jocelyn, Bailey, & Tyler, great-grandchild Justice Robert Cook Jr. of Seymour and several nieces, nephews & cousins. Friends may call on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia. Regardless of vaccination status, masks are required. 

Funeral services will be held on Friday, Dec. 3 at 10:00 a.m. directly from the funeral home with burial following in Mt. St. Peter Cemetery in Derby.
