Marilyn “Pat” Wanagill, age 89, a resident of Seymour since 1963, entered into eternal rest on January 21, 2022, in Griffin Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert J. Wanagill.
Mrs. Wanagill was born in Derby on March 17, 1932, daughter of the late Richard and Anna Vasco Moore. She was a graduate of Shelton High School in 1949. In the early 1950’s, she taught dance and was the owner of Patricia’s Dance Studio. Pat was a long-time communicant of St. Joseph Church in Ansonia and a member of their women’s guild.
She leaves to cherish her memory, a son, Robert A. Wanagill (Barbara) of Palm Bay, FL, a daughter, Cindy Dubey of Satellite Beach, FL, grandchildren, Michael Dubey of Palm Bay, FL, Stacey Dubey of Clearwater, FL and Catherine Wanagill of Satellite Beach, FL, great-granddaughter, Kendra as well as several nieces and nephews, especially, Dana Moore, who was raised by Pat and Danielle Moore and Tammy Hyman Mosman, who cared for her these past few years. She was predeceased by her grandson, Bobby Dubey and brothers, Richard and Dennis Moore.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral on Monday, April 4, 2022, at 10:00 am, meeting directly at St. Joseph’s Church, 32 Jewett Street in Ansonia for a Mass of Christian Burial. Inurnment will immediately follow in St. Michael’s Cemetery in Derby. The SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia is privileged with the arrangements.
