Marina B. Lussier, 84, of Ansonia, peacefully entered into eternal rest on October 10, 2012, at Griffin Hospital in Derby, CT, with her loving family by her side.
Mrs. Lussier was born in Pawtucket, RI on September 29, 1928, daughter of the late Joseph and Juanita Castro Blanco. She was a self-employed make-up and skin care representative for Lady Finelle Cosmetics for many years until her retirement. Marina loved to travel, especially on cruises. She also enjoyed playing cards and bingo and most certainly lived life to its fullest.
She is survived by three sons, Jay P. Lussier and Michael Lussier of Ansonia, CT and Christopher Lussier of Bethany, CT, a brother, Joseph Blanco and his wife Denise of Warwick, RI, sister in law, Celeste Blanco of Pawtucket, RI, cherished granddaughter, Jessica Lussier Casini and her husband Matthew of Ansonia, CT and several nieces, nephews, and friends. She was predeceased by her former husband, Philip W. Lussier, and brothers, Julio and Nelson Blanco.
Visiting hours will be held on Saturday Oct. 13, 2012, from 3 – 7 pm in the chapel of the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. At 6:30 pm a prayer service will be held with Deacon Richard Renker officiating. On Monday Oct. 15, 2012, visiting hours will also be held from 3 – 7 pm in the Manning-Heffern Funeral Home, 68 Broadway, Pawtucket, RI. On Tuesday, her funeral will be held at 9:15 am commencing from the Manning-Heffern Funeral Home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at St. Anthony Church, 32 Lawn Avenue in Pawtucket.
