Marjorie L. (Woods) Rivers, age 63, entered eternal rest on March 5, 2025, at her home in Ansonia.
She was the beloved wife of the late David P. Rivers.Born in Derby on April 12, 1961, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Beverly Doyle Woods.
Marjorie was a graduate of Ansonia High School and resided in Ansonia for most of her life. She was employed at Helicopter Support/Sikorsky Aircraft in Trumbull retiring as manager of imports after forty-five years of service.
Marjorie was a pillar of strength and love for her family, always making time for her late husband and children.
Her most precious memories were made doting on her grandchildren and being there for every milestone. Marjorie loved spending time at the beach and family trips to their cottage in Otis, MA where she spent time kayaking and enjoying the outdoors. If there was a good lobster roll around, Marjorie would find it to enjoy.
In her later years she took up the art of crocheting, playing Farkle with the family, and also enjoyed watching HGTV.

Rivers of Ansonia, sisters, Judy Marino (Robert) of SC, Susan Javins (William) of FL, and Donna Gunther of NC, a brother, Robert Woods of FL, grandchildren, Colson, and Ava Rivers of Orange along with several nieces and nephews.
Per Marjorie’s request, her funeral service and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
