Mrs. Marsilia G. Marks, age 81, beloved wife of Harry Marks, of Seymour, entered into peaceful rest on June 26, 2011 at her home with her devoted family by her side.
She was the daughter of the late Cesidio and Anna (D’Addario) DeSantisand was born on June 4, 1930 in San Benedetto Dei Marsi, Abruzzi Italy.
Mrs. Marks was a communicant of St. Augustine Church. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and an excellent cook.
In addition to her loving husband, Mrs. Marks leaves three devoted children, Marco Gianotti and his wife Barbara, Anna Fanotto and her husband John, and Marsilia Chacho and her husband John, all of Seymour; and a sister, Lisa Desiderato of Oxford and other brothers and sisters in Italy, Germany, Australia and France.
She also leaves eight grandchildren, as she was affectionately known as “Nonni” to John III
and Zachary Fanotto, Stephanie and Jessica Gianotti, Julianne, Sarah, John, Jr. and Jake Chacho and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, July 2 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Augustine Church, Seymour. Interment to follow in St. Augustine Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.
Arrangements have been entrusted with the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, Seymour.
