Martha Santiago, a 57 year old Ansonia resident and wife to Sylvester Zimmerman, passed away suddenly at home on May 12.
She was born October 28, 1964 in New Haven, daughter of the late Stephen & Judith Riggott and worked for Life Touch Studios in Derby.
In addition to her husband, she leaves her son Jose Santiago of West Haven, her sister Virginia Riggott of New Haven, brother Stephen Riggot Jr. (Lisa) of Wallingford, sister-in-law and best friend Carolyn Zimmerman of Ansonia, stepchildren Takia Cranford (Robert) of Waterbury, Qiana Garris of Naugatuck and Keisa Demps of Texas and a host of grandchildren, nieces & nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 22 at 11:00 a.m. at The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia. Friends may call on Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. before the service begins.
