Mary Ann L. Sarracco, 72, entered into eternal rest on July 1, 2016, at Griffin Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Dominick F. Sarracco.
Mrs. Sarracco was born in Derby on July 23, 1943, daughter of the late Walter and Ludmilla Kotch Weslocky. A resident of Ansonia since 1965, she was employed in the produce dept. at Stop & Shop in Ansonia for several years, until her retirement. She was a communicant of Holy Rosary Church in Ansonia and a member it’s Rosary Guild and women’s bocce league.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Marianne Donahue of Milford, sons, Dominick M. Sarracco of Ansonia and Mark A. Sarracco (Nancy) of FL, brothers, Walter Weslocky of MD and David Weslocky of WA, grandchildren, Alisha Gotsch (William) of Ansonia, Michael Donahue of Milford, Kristina, Kayleigh, Ryah, and Riana Sarracco of FL, great-grandchildren, Liam and Brody Gotsch and Benton Fritzinger and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral on Wednesday July 6, 2016, at 10:00 am at Holy Rosary Church in Ansonia for a Mass of Christian Burial. Visiting will take place on WEDNESDAY MORNING from 8:30 am until the procession leaves for church in the chapel of the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. Entombment will immediately follow in Mt. St. Peter’s Mausoleum in Derby.
