Mary B. Kunecki, age 92, of Shelton, entered into rest on Monday, June 9, 2025 in Shelton. Mary was born in Ansonia on July 24, 1932, daughter of the late Valenti and Aleksandra Bialecki, and lived in Shelton for almost 70 years.
She was the longtime secretary for the Shelton Economic Development Department, a position she held for 40 years. She was also a Porsche enthusiast and a longtime member of the CT Valley Region of the Porsche Club of America alongside her son.
Mary is the beloved mother of Joseph John Kunecki, Linda Bordonaro, and Richard Kunecki and his wife Chie Yoshimi, cherished grandmother of Lance Kunecki, Sarah Kunecki, and Gina Bordonaro, and great-grandmother of Levi Francoeur. She was predeceased by two siblings, Edward and Helen Bialecki.
The Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Road, Shelton, has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements, which are private.
