Mary Lomachinsky, 95, of Prospect, formerly of Ansonia, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Monday morning, July 4, 2016, in the comfort of her home, with her loving family by her side.
Mrs. Lomachinsky was born in Derby on April 14, 1921, daughter of the late John and Klavia Zelem. She was a lifelong resident of Ansonia before moving to be with her daughter in Prospect six years ago. Mary was devoted to her family and was deeply loved by them.
She is survived by a son, John Lomachinsky of Shelton, daughters, Klara Patafio of Beacon Falls, Kathleen Lomachinsky of Prospect and Gloria Mellott of Ansonia, ten grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Demetro Zelem and sisters, Mildred Butrymowicz, Helen Lubera and Esther Kohler.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral on Friday July 8, 2016, at 10:00 am in the chapel of the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. Visiting will take place on FRIDAY MORNING from 8:30 am until the service begins. Interment will immediately follow the service in Mt. St. Peter Cemetery in Derby.
