Mary “Marilyn” Elizabeth Keith, age 87, of Bethel entered into rest on Wednesday, July 31, 2019, at Bethel Health Care.
She was the devoted wife of the late John Keith. Marilyn was born in Norwalk on April 5, 1932, daughter of the late Thomas Wilfred Kearney and Mary (Newman) Kearney, and lived most of her life in Shelton.
She was the owner of the Keith’s Laundromat and Drycleaning in Stratford.
She is the beloved mother of Charles “Butch” Ensign, Jr. and his companion Katie and Evelyn Keith-Luzzi and her wife Monica and stepmother of Kurt Keith.
She also leaves four cherished grandchildren, Alec Falzone, Heather Keith, Nicole Keith, and Kurt Keith, Jr., four siblings, Gerald, Michael, and Edward Kearney and Sheila Fabianski, and numerous nieces and nephews. Marilyn was predeceased by 8 brothers, Thomas, Robert, William, Donald, Richard, James, John and Peter Kearney.
Friends are invited to greet the family at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Road, Shelton, on Monday from 9:30 AM to 11 AM. Her funeral service will begin at Riverview at 11 AM. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Shelton.
