Mary Ondov, age 83, of Shelton, entered into rest on Saturday, November 9, 2013, at Bishop Wicke Health Center in Shelton. She was the devoted wife of the late George Ondov. Mary was born on April 6, 1930 in Throop, PA, daughter of the late Michael and Anna (Molitoris) Blasko.
She worked for GE as a secretary for over ten years before her retirement, and was very active at Christ the King Church in Newtown for many years.
Mary was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She is the beloved mother of Sharon Peloquin and her husband James, and also leaves five cherished grandchildren, Stacy Betkoski, Lori Coglitore, Lisa Wells, Amanda Nealy, and Meghan Nealy, seven great grandchildren, her brother Michael Blasko and his wife Beverly, and several nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by her son, Paul James Nealy.
The Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Road, Shelton, has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements. A memorial service will be held at the Wesley Heights Chapel 580 Long Hill Ave., Shelton, on Friday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. James Stinson Officiating.
