MaryAnn Borgesano, age 80, peacefully entered into eternal rest in the early morning hours of January 12, 2021, in the comfort of her home. She was the beloved wife of the late Pasquale Borgesano.
Mrs. Borgesano was born in Derby on July 10, 1940, daughter of the late Paul Elko Sr. and Genevieve Natawich Elko. A resident of Seymour for most of her life, she was employed as a Special Education Aid for the Seymour Board of Education (O’Brien Learning Center) until her retirement. MaryAnn enjoyed knitting, playing Bingo and visits to the casino.
She leaves to cherish her memory, loving sons, John J. Borgesano (Lynn) and Michael J. Borgesano (Renee) of Seymour, grandsons, Kyle Borgesano of Seymour and Matthew Sears of Ansonia, best friends, Judith Halchak of Seymour and Angela Alfano of Oxford as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Paul Elko Jr. and a sister, Paula Miller.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Monday January 18, 2021 at 11:00 am at Mountain Meadows Cemetery, 117 Mountain Road in Seymour.
