Massimo V. Pelaccia, age 71, unexpectedly entered eternal rest on June 3, 2024, at his home in Branford.
Massimo was born in San Valentino, Abruzzo, Italy on September 24, 1952, son of the late Mario and Prudenza Guglielmi Pelaccia. He was a self-employed real estate investor and a well-known hair stylist in the New Haven area. As an entrepreneur, he owned many businesses throughout his lifetime. Massimo had a huge, generous heart and loved socializing and helping others. He enjoyed cooking, vacationing and frequently traveled back to his hometown in Italy. He was the life of a party with his larger-than-life personality. Those who knew him loved him.
Massimo leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter, Carmelina E. Riccitelli (Joseph) of Higganum, brothers, Joseph Pelaccia (Marie) of Milford, Giorgio Pelaccia of MA, and Franco Pelaccia (Christie) of Shelton, grandchildren, Vanessa and Alex Riccitelli of Higganum and canine buddy Bruno, along with several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family and pay their respects on Thursday June 13, 2024, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm in the chapel of SPINELLI-RICCIUTI FUNERAL HOME, 62, Beaver Street in Ansonia. At noon, a Catholic funeral service in celebration of Massimo’s life will take place with Reverend Jeffrey Gubbiotti officiating.
