Melania Fedorko, age 69, of Shelton, beloved wife of the late Stefan Fedorko, died November 30, 2010 at Griffin Hospital, Derby.
Born in Poland on May 17, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Piotr and Teodora Zelem Palczak. Mrs. Fedorko immigrated to the U.S. in 1993 and has resided in Shelton ever since.
She worked as a machine operator for the Inline Plastics Co. of Shelton for 15 years, until the time of her illness. She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Church, Ansonia.
Mrs. Fedorko is survived by her devoted children, Janusz Fedorko and his wife Halina of Shelton and Malgorzata Wislocki and her husband, Jaroslaw of Poland; cherished grandchildren, Joshua and Marta Fedorko of Shelton and Jakub and Joanna Wislocki of Poland; as well as 6 brothers and 1 sister in Poland.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Fedorko was predeceased by four brothers.
Funeral services will take place from the Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home, 167 Wakelee Ave., Ansonia on Friday, December 3, 2010 at 9 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated in Sts. Peter and Paul Church, 105 Clifton Ave., Ansonia, at 10:00AM. Interment will be in Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Derby.
