Michael A. Luciano, age 71, of Naugatuck, entered into eternal rest on August 18, 2021 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury. He was the beloved husband of Susan Smith.
Michael was born in Bridgeport on March 4, 1950, son of the late Michael and Seneria Ernandes Luciano. He was employed as a machinist at Sikorsky Aircraft for forty-six years, until his retirement. Michael’s hobbies included wood working and fishing. He loved all animals including wildlife and was an avid Harley enthusiast.
In addition to his wife Susan, Michael leaves to cherish his memory, a son, Robert M. Luciano (Jennifer) of Ansonia, a daughter, Jacqueline Lovell (Daniel) of Naugatuck, a sister, Katherine Kozak (William) of Shelton, grandchildren, Taylor Dorvil (Jeremiah) of Shelton, Adiana Marenyi of Ansonia, Cassandra Lovell of Naugatuck and Rocco Luciano of Ansonia, great-granddaughter, Isabella Dorvil, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Friends and family are invited to attend Michael’s funeral service on Thursday August 26, 2021, at 4:00 pm, in the chapel of SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia with Reverend Jeffrey Gubbiotti officiating. Visitation will follow the service from 4:30 pm to 7:00 pm. The family requests that masks be worn inside the funeral home.
