Michael A. Bigica, 52, formerly of Shelton CT, passed away on March 24, at Avow Hospice in Naples, FL. He was the husband of Annette M. (Browning) Bigica.
Michael was born on January 9, 1973 in Bridgeport, CT, son of Anthony P. Sr and Pauline M. (Magnatta) Bigica. Being raised in Shelton, CT, Michael spent various points in his life between Texas and Florida. In his early life, after graduating college, Michael would meet his wife of 28 years, Annette, working at a factory in his hometown.
During his free time, his passions included fishing, riding his motorcycle, going to the range, tinkering in his garage, spending time with his son, and seeing the world with his wife. Everyone who met Michael knew him for his lighthearted attitude, an infectious laughter, and immense generosity to those who he knew and loved. Michael is remembered as a dedicated family man, and as someone who prioritized his family above all else.
In addition to his wife and parents, Michael is survived by his son, Peter M. Bigica of Danbury, CT and his brother, Anthony P. Bigica, Jr of Naples, FL.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, April 5, from 1:30 P.M. to 3:30 P.M. at the Fuller Funeral Home located at 1625 Pine Ridge Rd. Naples, FL 34109. Followed by a prayer service will be held at 3:30 P.M. Friends may call on Saturday April 12, 2025 from 9 am to 11 am in the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Rd. Shelton. Services will follow at 11 am. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Shelton.
