Michael J. Daniels, age 80, a lifelong resident of Shelton, entered into eternal rest on November 15, 2023, at Bridgeport Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of 48 years to Jane (Bartovic) Daniels.
He was born on June 25, 1943, in Bridgeport, son of the late Frederick and Nellie (Edwards) Daniels. Michael owned and operated Michael’s Maintenance for 50 years. He was the bassist for the band Steam and he enjoyed playing pool and was known for his love of telling jokes to anyone and everyone.
Michael is survived by his four cherished children, Michelle Casone, Sarah DelFranco, Michael Daniels, and Carrie Daniels, nine loving grandchildren, Ronnie, Stacey, Jesse, Justin, Anthony, Alana, Gabrielle, Amelia, and Mikaela, two cherished great grandsons, Jason and Tony, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Lowell Daniels.
Friends are invited to greet the family on Monday, November 20, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Road, Shelton. A memorial talk will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. at Kingdom Hall Of Jehovah’s Witnesses,1 Platt Road, Shelton.
