Michael P. Cignarale, age 72 of Seymour, entered into peaceful rest on Monday, June 3, 2024 in Shady Knoll Health Care, Seymour. Born in Bridgeport on September 10, 1951, he was a son of the late Alfonso and Elizabeth (Trapani) Cignarale.
Michael worked in the deli department of Stop and Shop and loved interacting with customers. In his earlier years, he was an avid musician, playing drums in many shows throughout the country. He was an avid NY Yankee fan and also enjoyed karate, earning a third degree black belt. Mostly, Michael enjoyed being around people and will be remembered for his quick wit and funny personality.
Survivors include his loving siblings, Thomas Cignarale of Seymour, and Linda Jenkins of Woodbridge; cousins, Judy Russo of Oxford, Renay Mishico of Shelton, and Georgeann Erhardt of Oxford, as well as numerous extended family.
Relatives and friends are invited to greet his family on Friday, June 7, 2024 from 5pm to 7pm in the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 161 W. Church St., Seymour, CT 06483.
