Michele Suzette (Bottone) Wojewodzki

Michele Suzette (Bottone) Wojewodzki, a 61 year old Ansonia resident and beloved wife to Peter E. Wojewodzki, entered into eternal life on Jan. 30 after a long and courageous battle with C.L.L.

She was born June 6, 1960 in Derby, daughter of Ferdinando and Assunta Fabrizi Bottone. She was a dedicated Certified Tumor Registrar (CTR) at Bridgeport and Yale N.H. Hospitals for over 30 years. She was a lifelong member of National Tumor Registrar Association and served as Treasurer for CT TRAC

In addition to her husband, she leaves to cherish her memory her sons Pat Del Vento III (John) of Shelton and Peter A. Wojewodzki of Ansonia, her brothers Joseph Bottone of Derby & Fred Bottone (Rachel) of Shelton, brother-in-law Paul S. Wojewodzki of Shelton, lifelong friends Debbie Peccaro of Beacon Falls and Maryanne Michel of Seymour, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was also blessed with a host of colleagues who grew to become dear friends in the health care industry. As dedicated as she was as a health care worker, she was even more dedicated to her family. She was a loving mother and prioritized time spent with her family, sunny days on the boat, and trips to the casino and The Jersey Shore. She loved cooking and baking and was famous for her Italian cookies and pastries. Everyone had a welcome seat at her table; no one went home hungry.
