Mieczyslaw Krzywdzinski, age 75, beloved husband of Danuta Wronska Krzywdzinski of Derby, entered into rest on March 29, 2025 at St. Vincent’s Medical Center, Bridgeport, with his family by his side.
Born in Zabrze, Poland on October 3, 1949, he was the son of the late Stanislaw and Wiktoria Starzec Krzywdzinski. Mr. Krzywdzinski was raised in Zabrze, Poland and studied engineering and mechanical design at the local university. His engineering designs brought many innovations to the equipment of the coal mining industry, and he was awarded with a Presidential Citation from the President of Poland. He immigrated to the United States in 1993 and became a naturalized U.S. Citizen in 2002.
Mr. Krzywdzinski continued his career in manufacturing as a project manager and CNC machine operator, until the time of his retirement in 2016. He was a Communicant of St. Michael Church, Derby and was an avid World Cup Soccer fan. His greatest joy was spending time with his family, supporting his granddaughter in all her athletic and academic endeavors.
