Mildred S. DiPoalo, age 88, entered into eternal rest on February 26, 2018. She was the beloved and devoted wife of sixty-eight years to Samuel DiPoalo.
“Millie” was born in Derby on August 18, 1929, daughter of the late Salvatore and Bridget Esposito. A resident of Ansonia for fifty-eight years, she was employed at the former BF Goodrich in Shelton and later for Wolf’s Bakery located in the former Klarides Supermarket in Derby until her retirement.
In addition to her husband Sam, she leaves to cherish her memory, a loving daughter, Deborah Kraynak and her husband Joseph of Ansonia, cherished grandchildren, Joey Kraynak and his wife, Megan and Mary Kraynak and her fiancé, Brandon Aldred and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Ann Hartshorn.
Visitation will be Friday morning, March 2, 2018, from 7:45 – 8:30 am in the chapel of the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. Her procession will leave the funeral home at 8:45 am for a Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Rosary Church in Ansonia at 9:00 am. Entombment will immediately follow in Mt. St. Peter’s Mausoleum in Derby.
