Milford Dalaker, an 89 year old Shelton resident, entered into eternal rest March 2.
He was born on the fourth of July, 1933 in Crotty Seneca Illinois, son of the late Conrad & Sadie Anderson Dalaker. Milford served in both The Norwegian and The American Armed Forces. He worked as a line man for U.I. After his retirement, he and his beloved wife traveled the world with their new cruise friends.
In addition to his wife Jean, he was predeceased by brothers Sidney and Kjell Dalaker. He leaves two daughters, Cheryl Frolish of Shelton and Barbara (Tim) Walker of Burlington, CT., four grandchildren, Daniel Frolish, (Jen) Laura Cormier (Jim), Sara Frolish (Nick) & Courtney Walker, 2 brothers Odd and Kenneth of Norway and by several nieces and nephews. Friends may call on Wednesday, March 8th from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m.
Burial will follow in Mountain Grove Cemetery in Easton. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to The Hartford Health Care Hospice Music Therapy Program, 1290 Silas Deene Hwy., Wethersfield, CT 06019.
