Muriel E. Worley, a 97 year old former Ansonia resident currently of Shelton, passed away Jan. 18.
She was born March 23, 1921 in Ansonia, daughter of the late Thomas & Margaret Shaw Worley.
Muriel worked as a secretary for American Brass Co. and was a member of The First United Methodist Church in Ansonia.
She leaves her nephew Glenn Trunkfield, Niece Gail Behrle (Charles David) and her sister Margaret Trunkfield.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Jan. 26 at 11:00 a.m. from The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia.
There are no calling hours; burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
