Nancy G. Olson, age 89, died peacefully in her home on Monday July 22, 2024. She was the beloved wife of Phillip E. Olson who passed previously in 2011. Nancy was born in Worcester, MA on December 8, 2034, daughter of the late Frederick and
Beaulah (Boyns) Gagnon. She was raised and educated in Worcester.
Nancy worked in Worcester as a bank teller and upon arriving in CT she worked as an accountant for a financial planning firm in Bridgeport. She and her husband Phillip moved to Shelton where she lived for over 62 years. Nancy was a member of
Huntington Congregational Church and a former member of Housatonic Boat Club in Stratford.
Nancy is survived by her children, Peter Olson and his wife Stephanie Fulbright of Southwick MA, and Holly Olson and her husband Andrew Bishop of Silver Spring Maryland. She is survived by six grandchildren, John Olson, and his wife Maddy Olson and Andres Pagnucco, Emma Henning, Max Henning, Rowan Bishop, and Molly Bishop.
Nancy was preceded in death by one brother, Stanley Gagnon and three sisters, Barbara Clifford, Jean Moe, and Edith Rosenberger.
