Nancy Minolaio Skowronski, age 90, of Shelton, entered into rest on Thursday, June 19, 2014 in the Griffin Hospital Derby. She was the devoted wife of the late Edward Skowronski.
Mrs. Skowronski was born in Derby on May 3, 1924 daughter of the late Louis and Josephine Mascolo Minolaio, and was a lifelong Shelton resident.
She was employed as a clerk at Sikorsky Aircraft in Stratford for over 21 years until her retirement in 1989. She was a communicant of St. Michael’s Church in Derby.
She is the beloved mother of Robert Skowronski, and RIchard Skowronski. She also leaves two cherished grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her
sister Nancy Lucas, and three brothers Carmen, Anthony, and Louis Minolaio.
Friends may greet her family on Monday from 5 to 7 PM in the Riverview Funeral Home 390 River Road Shelton. On Tuesday her funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 10:30 AM for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in St. Michael’s Church Derby. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery Shelton.
