Naomi P. Gurdak, age 63 of Seymour, she entered into peaceful rest on April 28, 2025.
Naomi was born March 23, 1962 in Bridgeport, beloved daughter of the late Joseph, Jr., and Janet (Tucciarone) Pupchik.
She was a 40 plus year employee of the Griffin Hospital, Derby where she worked as a CNA, where she will be fondly remembered for the love and care she gave to her patients. Naomi was a member of the West Seymour Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Shelton.
She loved to cook and she enjoyed travel, especially going to Colorado. Naomi had a genuine appreciation for life’s simple things- sitting together with good friends, listening to James Taylor, engaging in meaningful conversations; wanting quality interactions as opposed to dinners out or going to a movie.
Naomi leaves her loving cousins, Steven Pupchyk (Rose) of Oxford, Patricia Jaworoski (Ed) in Florida, Edward Reznik (Roberta) of Naugatuck, and Russell Reznik (Gail) of Greenwich; also her dear friends, Claudia Andrews in Hawaii, Robin and Matt Opekin of Naugatuck, and Rebecca and Bobby Gyba of Oxford, and Jen Daly of Waterbury.
A Memorial Service in celebration of Naomi’s life will be announced at a later date. There are no calling hours. The Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church Street, Seymour is entrusted with the arrangements. Memorial Gifts may be sent to ALSAC/St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place,
