Mr. Neil J. Conley, age 75, beloved husband of 26 years to Pearl E. Conley of Largo, FL and formerly of Seymour, entered into peacefully rest on June 14, 2013 in Clearwater, Florida.
He was born on June 10, 1938 in Norwalk and was the son of the late Cornelius Conley and Evelyn (Chalfant) Kutzer and his stepfather, Harold Kutzer of Largo, Florida. Mr. Conley was a U.S. Navy veteran and served during the Vietnam War. He was the owner of Conley Painting for many years. He was a member of the Florida Senior Star Bowling League and Ranchero Village Shuffle Board League.
In addition to his devoted wife, he leaves two sons, Robert Conley of Beacon Falls and Neil Conley of Ansonia, two daughters, Stephanie Mulvihill and her husband Matthew of Old Saybrook and Stacey Pettinella of Seymour, and four grandchildren, Lauren and Jared Pettinella, Kallie and Ryan Mulvihill and is also survived by a half brother and half sisters and many nieces and nephews. His daughter, Donna Conway and sister, Judy Letsch predeceased him.
Family and friends may call on Saturday, July 13 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. with a Memorial Service with Military Honors to follow at 5:00 p.m. at the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church Street, Seymour.
